WINGS Collective is a community organization that serves school age youth that have unique learning needs and benefit from specialized supports.

WINGS Collective was created by teachers in response to parents whose children benefited from our approach and wanted more.

We infuse inquiry-based learning, direct teaching, and in-the-moment academic, language, executive function, and social supports in our programs.

Our programs reflect our five core values:

Wondering is permission to be curious without needing a correct answer. It happens when environments, experiences, and opportunities are provided that spark interest and lead students to ask questions and explore a topic.

Investigating is researching a topic from all angles. It encourages use and critical analysis of experiences, books, articles, interviews, pictures, and connections to background knowledge. It is purposeful and adaptable to the needs and focus of the learner.

Noticing happens when you take a step back to look at the bigger picture, or zoom in to find a detail you didn't see before. You make connections and see things from a different perspective.

Giving combines perspective taking and knowledge gained to make positive changes in our community. It requires one to consider the thoughts, feelings, and needs of others.

Serving others not only feels good, but does good. When we act as catalysts for change, we feel hope and a connection to others; we find purpose and happiness while contributing to the happiness of others.
